If And Only If

If and only if- the saddest words in life
that make us actualise that our dream isn't fulfilled.
What we could do but couldn't do,
what we could ignore but couldn't ignore.

If and only if life becomes the bed of roses
and everyday starts with joyous emotions.
We would not relinquish and try again,
an opportunity to start afresh and make things happen.

If and only if we can dream and make it veritable,
We can think and make our thoughts alive.
Gather all courage and be the paladin
of our life and all things around.

If and only if we could not bother what others have to say
and do our best to forget the rest.
We remain enchanted with the hymns of positivity
and let negativity flow outside the window.

If and only if we can get back our life again,
to start  anew with a hopeful view.
To look beyond with the power of fondness
And live life the kindness way.

If and only if....

My Immortal

The allure of my existence,
the power of my nurturing,
my happiness, my chirpiness,
the reason of me- being me.

The affinity of my mother,
the propensity of my father,
the wanton mischief of my siblings,
the benevolence of My family.

Then, one day I had to furlough
for a new beginning.
Bequeathing behind my eternal part
the part that completed me.

Eventually, I somehow balanced
and evolved into a new identity.
Giving away my babyish persona
and turning into a noblewoman.

I accepted this mutation
of melancholy and jumbled emotions
that preceded my heart
to an obscure way.

I lead a blithesome excursion
of gaiety and benevolence.
Still, a fragment of me
seek for it's fullness.

At Times, I Wonder

At times,
I wonder,
What the sky wants to reveal?
What beauty the moon holds?
What magical powers does stars sprew?
Why the clouds move with a flurry?

At times,
I wonder,
What trees usher at night?
What the breeze behold within itself?
Why there is a sudden taciturnity?
Why night embraces the love within itself?

At times,
I wonder,
Why the moon disappears to let the sun reveal its face?
Why sun explodes with heat and shove away the whole world?
Why the stars play hide and seek in its empyrean?

At times,
I wonder,
Why do buds blossom into beauteous corsage?
Why do caterpillars metamorphose into a butterfly?
Why do tress become sinewy to umbrage us?

At times,
I wonder,
Why are there so many whys?
Why are there so many ifs?
How and what, where and when?
What if we have all the answers?

Will life be as fasinating as it is now?
