The Earth Woman
I am
the earth woman.
look deep
into my eyes..
much have l
seen, endured
molestations,
greedy
hands
gnawing me out,
breaking,
crushing
polluting...
look at my
shaven head
my green
wiped out...
they lend me
the pallor of
a widow
in grief..
I stand
shunning
my stunning
beauty..
the flow of
my bounty
has dried up..
the glow of
my skin
is fading fast
stress
ridden....
crevices they
have
formed
on my body
deforming
my shape
they only weep
my flock of birds...
my cattle
smelling me
deep, turn away
in
grief.
for they have
injected,
killing, smelling
toxins
inside me.
they fill up
my bowels,
with plastic
that lie
encrusted
within my deeps
in
soil,and
life giving
water...
they only cry
suffocated
my submarine
folk
my seeds
shuttered...
No, I will
resurrect
shaking off
my yoke,
me the creative
principle
of life....
breaking up
my metallic
chains,
I emerge,
the
torrent
irresistible,
inundating
their paltry
castles
built on
shaking
shores.
I emerge
like thunder
spiltting
horizons..
I emerge....
I emerge...
Broken Branch!
Nature !
how much
you teach me
lessons
in my book of
life..
you bloom full
even on broken
branch, and cheer
us all..
Even when one falls
you can give
you can smile
and spread profuse
the fragrance for all..
here we thrive, revel
in plenty around
hoard and waste
for a future so vague,
yet seldom care
for those in need..
Nature, make me thy
branch, caring for all
kind, soft and bright
sharing the joy of life
with the sky that watches,
the wind that whispers ...
Mid Summer Heat
burns...
still
You
keep
smiling,
blooming...
spreading
fragrance...
my green,
green
tree
so fresh
so close
immediate...
sharing
the pulses
of my
home world
where
frets and
fumes
funs,
fancies
run riot..
I smile
with you
benevolent...
Waking up
to the
fragrance
of my coffee tree
in blooms...
nice
I nurtured it
near
my bed room...
the chill wind
brushes past
with a cold
nip
and grip....
fine feelings
waft in
sweet smelling...
of valleys
of love
bathed in
sunlight..
of smiles
shared
across
aeons
of silence...
