The
Mighty Sun
The
mighty sun shines when it does
The
shadows grow big
And
then go small
While
men toil in their routine
The
mighty sun shines when it does
The
sultry weather
And
the soaring temperatures
Summon
children indoor and stop them from fun
The
mighty sun shines when it does
The
winds are altered
The
skies become sullen
The
earth crackles up under the rays of the sun
The
mighty sun shines when it does
The
birds dive to drink from dried ponds
The
cattle feel rattled
The
pets at home look for shady corners of respite
Nature
At Its Best
The
trees, their leaves swing with each stroke of the wind
They
hustle and bustle and cause sound and the fury
Carried
away on the wings of the soaring winds
They
fly, go round and down they come from their windy sails
Being
tired, they settle under the dust
Buried
now ‘cause they are now yellow and free from the strings of mortality
The
Landscape
The
land in view is unending and vast
The
fields laden with greenery
The
peasants hasty taking care of the crops
The
mounds and the flats and the plains
Extend
to infinity and don’t ebb
The
expanse looking optimistic
There
is peace, solace and tranquility all around
The
land in view is unending and vast
