Summer
I
Harsh
summer sunrays
Scorches
the body and skin
And
I dream icecreams!
II
Mangoes
in abundance
Pulp,
smoothies, and chilled cream
Sweet
nectar in the heat
III
Warm
sultry afternoons
Tender
memories of him
And
the fan whirls on

And
April, come she will

The Raindrop
Born
in the cool womb of the sky
Born
in the frozen depths
Of
Peace and tranquility
Yet
Seared
by a hot wave
I
melt
Into
a drop
A
single drop
In
a crowd
Of
what they call "Rain"
And
the pang of Separation
Touches
me
And
I know
For
some unknown reason
I
now must go
From
the heavens
In
a downward spiral
Unnestled
Unsettled
Unwanted
Was
I now
From
what I thought was my Safekeeping
And
so I started the freefall
A
surrender of sorts
To
the unknown ...
Did
I have a choice?
I
went down
Through
gray clouds
From
the gray skies
Through
layers
Of
smoke dust heat
Changing
So
much
That
I could hardly recognise myself
Shaped
was I
By
each layer of grime
And
just as I thought
I
would die
I
reached You
I
fell on your cheek
My
fair lady
From
a gray sky
To
a gray earth
On
your cheek
Wet
with your tears
Just
as your heart
Felt
gray...
I
mingled with you
And
those salty droplets
On
your cheeks
And
as I died
Within
them
I
knew
That
I was not alone.
Like
me
You
pretty lady
Were
dying a million deaths
Unnestled
Unsettled
Unwanted
In
Love
My
last vision
Was
of You
Holding
out your palm
To
the Raindrops
Smiling
at the rain through your tears
And
I know
Why
I had to come down
Why
I had to surrender
For
in dying I made You smile

Kashphool
Your
feather touch
Across
the dimensions
Of
space and time
This
autumn eve
The
feel of You
As
You
Waft
all over
In
pristine white
Then
a golden hue
Swoops
down
Embraces
us
In
a golden orb
Bursting
With
life
And
love
In
joyousness
The
feathers dance
And
twirl
And
swirl
To
the music
Of
abandon
