On Earth Day

The parched and naked
bosom of
Mother Earth
Cries and
Craves for
A cover of Green

Thirsty layers
Lament human blunders
Beg concerns
Showers of Rain

Hey Human !
Wake from slumber
Earth is but one
Resources restricted
Do your bit
And save it.

Desire Unfulfilled

Showers of rain
Sitting by Seaside
I see
Waves strike
against shore
And Cool breeze
Swaying tree

On wings of time
Fly back
Memories of
You and me

Desires are birds
Every now and then
Perch on mind
Seek me
To be with thee

Saddened I
Look beyond horizon

Some wishes
Never fulfil.

Moonlit Desert

Moonlit desert
Glittering Sands
Like million stars
Descended on Earth

In a thorny bush
Fluttering fireflies
Like swaying lamps
A heavenly bliss

In the distance
Nomadic beats
Ecstatic revellers
Around bonfires

In such ambience
Resting my head
On your shoulder
I dream Elysium
